Gesprekken
Wanneer we enthousiast zijn over je profiel, nodigen we je uit voor een gesprek. Tijdens dit gesprek kun jij ons meer vertellen over je ervaring en motivatie, en wij geven je een goed beeld van de organisatie, de functie en het team. Afhankelijk van de functie vinden er één of twee gesprekken plaats.

A fair home for every student
For over 80 years, DUWO has considered its primary function to provide every student with a pleasant and affordable home. DUWO's mission can be summarised by its motto: a fair home for every student. DUWO is about more than just a roof over your head. It is also about availability, affordability, safety, inclusivity and sustainability.
Every day we work hard to achieve this, based on three key points:

▪ we actively work towards further sustainability and expansion of our student housing;
▪ we work together innovatively and efficiently in a people-oriented organisation.
DUWO’s core values
Together we work towards ‘providing a fair home for all students’. We communicate this ethos to our customers, partners and (potential) employees; we make working for and with DUWO even more enjoyable, motivating ourselves to further improve the service we offer to our customers. Our core values guide us in our endeavour to deliver all that we aim to achieve. Our core values are:
Customer-centric
Doing business with DUWO needs to be easy and fun for our clients. The houses must be affordable, yet still include appropriate services and facilities: safety, well-being and community are paramount. This enables us to offer students the opportunity to make their house feel like a real home.
Enterprising
We have a social mission: ‘Strive to find a fair house for all students’. All our efforts are focused on providing sufficient, affordable, sustainable and comfortable housing for our clients. We aim to achieve operational excellence by utilising our resources as (cost) efficiently as possible. We are very focused on making the most of all opportunities. We look ahead, anticipate and are open to pilot projects and innovations to achieve our goal.
Sustainability
Together, we are working towards a sustainable future and towards meeting the climate targets by 2050. Every new-build must therefore be sustainable, however, our existing properties must also meet sustainability requirements in the near future. This, too, is part of ‘a fair home’. Technology plays an important role here, and the behaviour of our clients, ourselves and our partners also contributes to a large extent. This is how we create a sustainable chain and make a real difference to the climate in the future.
Fair
We rent to all students, regardless of background, religion or belief. We aspire to offer an affordable, (socially) safe and pleasant living environment. A fair contract and fair service charges are all part of this aspiration, as is fair rental, where we always endeavour to meet our obligations. We are professional and impartial towards our partners. We not only offer our employees a safe working environment, but also appreciation and fair working conditions.
Together
To achieve ‘a fair home for every student’, we need to collaborate with our partners, educational institutions, governments and clients. With ourselves and with each other. Our effectiveness lies in DUWO’s strong collaboration with colleagues, teams, branches and groups. If we can connect with each other more easily, working together becomes even more empowering and we move forward together.
