What does a welcome meeting entail?

The welcome meeting is a personal meeting between you and a (student) caretaker of DUWO. The interview will take place within a few weeks after you have moved into your new home.

The welcome meeting gives you the opportunity to get to know DUWO and to become familiar with the accommodation, our practices and rules. It is also an opportunity to ask questions and voice any concerns.

What can you expect?

  • The (student) caretaker comes by to welcome you and to get acquainted.
  • During the meeting you will receive important information about DUWO, about your building and specific (technical) information about your room.
  • There is also a check for defects and fire safety, for example.
  • After your welcome meeting, you know who your (student) caretaker is and what you can contact him or her for.

How can you prepare for a welcome meeting?

  • Just new to the room, then you may have some questions you want to ask the caretaker. Make a note of these before you forget them.
  • Do you immediately run into something that needs to be repaired? Then don't wait for the manager to come by. Report this immediately via a repair request.

DUWO wishes you a pleasant stay!
