Cancel your notice of termination

Have you recently terminated your contract, but would you like to revoke your notice of termination? This is possible, provided that you meet the following 3 conditions:

  • No new candidates have been selected for your home yet. 
  • You have no rental arrears or a bailiff case. 
  • You are able to prove that you are still studying at our office. This does not have to be a full-time study or meet the regional requirements, these conditions only apply when entering into a new rental agreement.

Please note: there are costs associated with withdrawing your notice of termination. You can find the current rates here.

How do I withdraw my notice of termination?
Submit a request to withdraw your notice of termination at the bottom of the page. If you meet the first 2 conditions, we will schedule an appointment with you to come by for a 10-minute conversation at our office. Please let us know your availability and answer a few questions, so that we can prepare for your visit.

What are we going to do during the appointment?

Is your study registered with DUO?
Please log in to DUO.nl at the office on your own device (laptop or mobile) to prove that you are still studying.

Is your study not known to DUO?
Then log in via another website or education portal to prove that you are still studying. We do not accept (digital) documents.

Please note! Bring a device that you can log in to: your own phone, tablet or laptop. You can use our WIFI at the office. Prepare at home and log in once on the device that you bring with you and check your enrollment details, before coming to our office.

 

Do you fall under one of these academic or medical positions:
  • Doctoral candidate
  • PhD candidate
  • Researcher in training (OiO) 
  • Assistant in training (AiO)

Then do not make an appointment, but continue to this form.
