Short Courses

IHE Delft Institute for Water Education has reserved rooms and apartments for international guests and students.

Rooms

IHE Delft has reserved rooms at the Papenstraat and at the Mina Krusemanstraat. All rooms are fully furnished. Some rooms have a private kitchen, shower and toilet. Tenants in the other rooms share a kitchen, shower, toilet and other common areas with one or more other students. A bed linen set will be waiting for you when you arrive. The bedding is owned by DUWO and if you leave, you leave it behind in your room. IHE Delft will provide a small kitchen set. On the inventory list you can see what furniture is available in your room.

What do I need to do to get a room?

Short-Course participants or guests whose stay will be shorter than 6 weeks must contact IHE Delft. IHE Delft makes the reservation for you and books a room with DUWO.

First payment

You pay rent to IHE Delft.

Tenancy agreement

Once you have digitally signed your contract, you will get an email with your tenancy agreement as a .pdf file. DUWO only hands over the keys after the contract has been signed. So please make sure your contract is signed before the starting date.

Arrival in the Netherlands

You will get the keys from your educational institution. You will be notified of this.

Life after accommodate

Will you continue to study in the Netherlands at the end of your Accommodate period? Then make sure to prepare in time: read the information on what you should do and register with ROOM for a student room.
