When you are moving out of your Accommodate room, there are a few matters to be taken care of. For example, your housing will be inspected by a DUWO administrator. He or she will check whether you are leaving your home behind in a clean and proper condition. Remember to return your keys and to deregister with the municipality.
We inspect your room before your tenancy agreement expires. You will be notified of this. During the inspection, you may be present, but this is not mandatory. The cost of repairs for possible defects will be invoiced to you. In the e-mail you receive in advance, we inform you about the inspection date and in what state you must leave your room. The exact leaving date is also mentioned. Is this not correct? Then please update it in My DUWO.
When you leave you room, we expect you leave your room in a hygienic state (room, bathroom/toilet, kitchen and common facilities): it must be thoroughly cleaned. The main points taken into account during inspection are:Room:

You have the option of leaving your Accommodate housing before the end date stated in your tenancy agreement. You pay rent until the end date of the tenancy agreement. If you are leaving earlier, let us know promptly via My DUWO. The inspection must take place before you move out.
Was your kitchen already equipped at the beginning of your tenancy agreement? Then you cannot take the kitchen inventory with you. Did you receive a package with kitchen inventory in your room? Then you can take the contents of the package with you.
At your departure, you can take along all your bedding (sheets, blankets, pillow). If you do not want to take the bedding, please throw it away.Are you a tenant of Cameretten, Oude Delft 75 of Papenstraat 20 NZ1? Then leave the bedding in your room as it is owned by DUWO.
You must hand in your keys of your Accommodate room before 10 am on the day of your departure. You can return them in the mailbox of the DUWO office, or deposit them in the DUWO mailbox at your address – if there is one (you can find out more about the DUWO mailbox in the residents’ information. We must be able to see which address the keys belong to, so please write the address on the envelope in which you deposit the keys, or attach an address label to the key(s).
If you are planning to move out of your Accommodate housing, you have to notify the municipality. The municipality will remove you from the Municipal Personal Records Database [Basis Registratie Personen (BRP)].
