Renovation of Röntgenweg – Information for local residents

Housing Shortage

The Netherlands is facing a significant housing shortage, including a shortage of student accommodation. The municipality therefore plans to add more affordable student housing in Delft in the coming years. To help meet this demand, DUWO is developing plans to expand the student complex on Röntgenweg. In total, approximately 300 additional housing units will be added.

The plan:

• Two extra floors on top of the existing building

• An extension with housing attached to the current building

• A redesign of the square

And more

At the same time, we are considering improvements to areas such as the bicycle storage, common rooms, courtyard, waste container areas, and the laundry room. For this, we will approach the residents’ committee and form a working group together with them.
