The DUWO app is available for all our tenants. The app is already used intensively to, for example, arrange financial matters and submit repair requests. We recently added the 'My Community' feature.
The platform allows tenants to get in touch with each other in an accessible way to, for example, ask something, borrow something, go for a jog together or organize something. My Community consists of various 'communities', where we often use two levels: the entire complex and per floor. Renters can follow categories that match their interests, making it easy to connect with neighbors and roommates who share similar interests.
DUWO itself will not post any information on this platform. It is partly managed by student administrators, who actively participate, monitor and address any reports of unwanted content. My Community is really for and by students.
Access
Anyone who is a tenant of DUWO automatically has access to the My Community platform via the DUWO app. This is possible from the moment you sign the contract for your room. This allows new students to come into contact with future neighbors even before they live there!
