Campus Yours Leiden is the latest location in Leiden for students, starters and transfer students, conveniently located to the south of the historic town centre and easily accessible by bicycle, car and public transport. The Leiden Lammenschans station is a short walk away and provides commuters with a direct link to Utrecht Centraal and Leiden Centraal stations. The mixed living environment and high quality appearance form the basis of this socially sustainable campus, which is expected to be fully completed in 2020. The expected handover date for the next 249 accommodation units in the following block (Sigmaplantsoen) is the end of July 2019.

Accommodation

The new complex in Epsilonplantsoen has 218 units spread over seven floors. These are studios starting with a floor area of 23.6 m2. The gross rental for these studios starts at €449.69. There are also some 3-room apartments. The rental for the 3-room apartments is up to €633.76 with a maximum floor area of 49.9 m2. The rental includes service costs, but not electricity, internet or TV. You can apply for housing benefits for all these units. The studios are energy efficient, sustainable and free from natural gas connection, making them well ahead of their time!The units are heated with electric radiators. The hot water system uses the combination of a heat pump boiler, a heat recovery ventilation system and solar panels. The solar panels provide some of the electricity for the heat pumps. In nearly all of the studios the heat pump boilers are shared with the unit next door. Apart from that, you live completely independently in your own studio. When you get the keys, the floor is bare and the walls are ready to paint, so you can decorate the studio exactly how you wish. The laundry area is located in the other block on the campus.

Contract and rental amounts

The accommodation units are suitable for full-time students and rented out with a campus contract. We’re offering 218 rooms via advertisements on ROOM.nl. You will be selected according to your registration period with ROOM. The basic rents are between €409.44 and €593.51. This doesn’t include the service costs. You can apply for housing benefits with this accommodation.
