DescriptionHugo de Grootstraat 32 is located in a side street of Witte Singel. This is a large student house where 92 students live, most of whom are international students and visiting lecturers at Leiden University. The beautiful building dates from 1912 and has four storeys. Some residents have their own room here and share the kitchen, bathroom and toilet with the other residents. These are furnished rooms. There are also separate apartments, some of which are furnished and others are semi-furnished.The size of the rooms varies from 11 to 106 square metres. The property is located in a quiet and green neighbourhood at the edge of the city centre. Via the Vreewijk bridge you walk into the city centre for its cafes, restaurants and shops. Nearby you will find the Plexus student centre (on Kaiserstraat) and the Old Observatory (Sterrenwachtlaan). In about 10 minutes by bicycle, you are at Leiden Central Station.
