DescriptionThe anatomy building houses 168 separate residences that are rented semi-furnished to PhD candidates at Leiden University.The building consists of a section that was renovated in 2015 (Verhaartpad and Dankmeijerpad), as well as a new 12-storey block of apartments (van Rijsselpad). The size of the apartments varies from 21 to 115 square metres.Each apartment is a separate residence and there are even several multi-room apartments. You use an electronic key to access your apartment, the entrance of the building and the bicycle storage area.There is a common internal bicycle storage area, and only the Van Rijsselpad building has a lift. The basement houses a laundry room available to all residents. The anatomy building is a ten-minute walk from Leiden Central Station. The centre of Leiden, with all its facilities and the faculties of Leiden University, is therefore close at hand. The Bio Science Park, the University of Applied Sciences Leiden, and Naturalis are right next door: an intelligent area!
