DescriptionThis national monument was built at the end of the eighteenth century. Its' nickname Het Gouden Holletje [The Golden Hole] refers to the fact that a goldsmith once occupied the building. Six students now live in this student residence. They have their own room and share the facilities and the roof terrace. The size of the rooms varies from 10 to 17 m2.The building is situated in the most historic part of the Leiden city centre. You will find many picturesque monuments, canals, museums and courtyards in this neighbourhood. Shops, cinemas, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. Leiden Central Station is a 5-minute bike ride away.
