DescriptionThis student housing houses 17 women who are called the Rapbelles. The students have their own room and share the facilities, living room (fusion), courtyard and garden. The 4-floor building dates from 1650. It is listed as a national monument and also goes by the name of Rapsodie [Rhapsody]. The deep building consists of a front and back section, separated by a courtyard. The building is situated in the most historic part of the Leiden city centre. You will find many picturesque monuments, canals, museums and courtyards in this neighbourhood. Shops, cinemas, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. Leiden Central Station is a 5-minute bike ride away.
