DescriptionThis large, stately student residence on Rapenburg accommodates 43 female students. One student lives in a student residence with its own kitchen, bathroom and toilet. The other 42 rooms are for women who are members of the Minerva student association. The students have their own room and share a large living room (fusion), bathrooms and toilets.The 4-floor building was built in the eighteenth century and is a national monument. The student flat is also called 't Kippenhok [the Chicken Coop]. The building is situated in the most historic part of the Leiden city centre. You will find many picturesque monuments, canals, museums and courtyards in this neighbourhood. Shops, cinemas, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. Leiden Central Station is a 5-minute bike ride away.
