DescriptionThis complex consists of several buildings. There are main entrances at Bazarlaan and also on Dorus Rijkersplein. In all, more than 150 international students live here. You have your own room and bathroom, but share a kitchen. The building in Bazarlaan has four floors. There is no elevator. The building on Dorus Rijkersplein has two elevators. This building has six floors, but the elevators go no higher than the fifth floor. There is a communal area on the ground floor. The Dorus Rijkersplein laundry room is on the ground floor as well. The laundry room is also used by the Bazarlaan residents. There are two bicycle storage areas: one at the back of Bazarlaan and one behind Dorus Rijkersplein.The buildings on Dorus Rijkersplein and Bazarlaan are located in one of the most popular areas of The Hague, known for its many quaint shops, restaurants, cafes and beautiful surroundings. You don't have to go far for your shopping: you can walk to the centre of The Hague where there are several supermarkets in the area. Within walking distance, you can enjoy the summer sunshine at the beautiful Noordeinde Palace, with its Royal Stables and palace gardens. The building is just around the corner from the ISS. The Hague University of Applied Sciences is easily accessible by bicycle. There are various bus and tram stops within walking distance.
