- Description The large student complex of Balthasar van der Polweg is located in the middle of the TU campus. The modern white tower of fifteen floors was given a 'saw-toothed facade' by the architect, which dampens the noise nuisance from the nearby Kruithuisweg. In the tower are independent studios and two-room houses with their own front door and their own kitchen, shower and toilet. There are also rooms, where you share the kitchen, shower and toilet with two or four people. In the two general areas you can organize group activities, study together or have a chat with your fellow students. There is a communal laundry room in the building and two large, closed bicycle sheds.If you like sports and culture, you live well here, because in a 2-minute walk you are at the sports complex and the adjacent cultural center of TU Delft. Here you can practice all kinds of sports and take music and drama lessons. By bike you are in five minutes at Delft South Station and in ten minutes in the city center of Delft.
