Taking a look at Oudemanhuispoort

Folia, the new website of the University of Amsterdam (UvA), took a look at the student accommodation being built by DUWO in the Oudemanhuispoort.

Right in the centre of Amsterdam, DUWO is currently converting part of the UvA university building on Oudemanhuispoort into 80 student rooms. They will be ready in December, and will serve as temporary student accommodation. The university intends to take back the building in 2021. Folia went there to take a look and filmed the rooms with their fine historical details and picturesque views over the canal and, let's not forget, toilets ‘where deans have sat down’.
