New registration platform for student rooms ROOM live

The national registration platform ROOM for student rooms was launched on September 24. The platform takes over the name of the current ROOM, which will continue as a supply platform under the name Roommatch and connects to the new registration platform. Via ROOM you can register for student housing from non-profit housing associations throughout the Netherlands. And the number of providers will continue to grow in the near future.

Register from 16 years old
You can register from the age of 16 for a one-off amount of 35 euros. This way you build up your registration period and you have access to the offerings of all affiliated student housing providers (now more than 50,000 rooms). Your registration is valid for 8 years. This way you can move during your studies: indoors, within the same city, but also in another city if you are going to study somewhere else.

Responding to rooms no longer on ROOM
The new registration platform ROOM will be a new website, with a new look and feel. You will no longer find any offers on ROOM itself. You can then respond to a room on the various affiliated supply platforms of the participating student housing providers. The range of the current ROOM (DUWO, Idealis, Lefier Pre Wonen and Ymere) is of course also included and can be found on Roommatch.nl.
