The rent can either be paid in instalments or the whole amount in advance.
Payment in advance (before arrival)
If you want to pay in advance, please wait for the confirmation letter with the final details about the reservation. When you pay in advance please send us a copy of the details on paper received by your bank.
Please note that the payment must reach us before the indicated final date. Bank charges should be paid by sender. Do NOT send cheques or international drafts.
Payment upon arrival
On arrival you should pay at least the first month rent, the deposit (300 euros) and an administration fee (100 euros). It is only possible to pay by bank card- if you have a Dutch bank account, by credit card or with a foreign bank card.
Payment during your stay
Each month you receive an “acceptgiro”. You can choose to pay by direct debit or you can arrange for automatic payment by signing an authorization at our office (only if you have a bank account in the Netherlands).
Cash payment at our office is NOT possible. Payments must be made by the first of each month.
Too late in payments?
If you pay your rent to DUWO yourself, you must always ensure that the rent for the following month is received by the first day of that month. If this should at any time present a problem, please contact DUWO as soon as possible in order to make arrangements. Avoid falling behind with your rent. Late payment may result in extra administration costs.
TU-Delft is paying the rent for you? (for guests only)
The housing coordinator of your Faculty at TU-Delft can indicate this on the application form for guests.
Do I get a refund upon late arrival or early departure?
No reduction will be given upon late arrival or early departure.
